It's so nice, especially for my 6'3" hubby, to be able
to spread out - and it's really comfy too! Ah! Can you say 'Sleeping in'!

"Not Crying!"

When Daisy's upset, she likes to cry loud and dramatically. When I tell her that she needs to stop crying her response is always, "I'm not crying! I'm sweating out my eyes." Oh My!

Easter

Our Easter Egg Hunt was such fun! Randy is such a great hider, in fact a little too great (at some future date two eggs with melted candy in them will be discovered) CreeAnna ended up with the most (we maybe should cut back on the little girls head start next year :P) In the bottom left picture you can see Aubrynn fuming because as she lifted a plastic disc to get the egg underneath, Daisy ran in and stole it out from under her. hehe.

After the egg hunt we did our Annual Easter Scavenger Hunt.

The girls were excited to get a new Wii game as one of the prizes.


I did our hunt a little differently this year. I felt badly that I hadn't done as much spiritual things as I should have so instead of making up fill-in-the-blank poem clues, I did scripture hunt clues for the older girls. Some were pretty hard, but they did a great job! See if you can get them- D&C 84:92, Alma 24:15, D&C 89:16, D&C 25:12, Alma 32:41, 3 Nephi 13:28

Later we went to Randy's family's for more good food and another Egg Hunt. Can you say Sugar Rush?

Easter Saturday

Easter at my parents house was so much fun as always. Good food, fun egg hunt, and games. My sister (next door) had downloaded Super Mario Bro (the original) onto her Wii. OMGosh I was laughing so hard I almost peed my pants! "Jump right there! I remember it's a bank!" Seriously a trip down memory lane! Later we also played Settler's of Catan. I so lost, but it's so fun to play! The battle of wits has begun.

April Fool's

We always love to make crazy food spoof's on April Fool's so this year we ate frosted cupcakes for dinner (sheppard's pie with colored mashed potatoes (it unintentionally ended up a way scary blue, that upon commenting on I realized my kids have no idea what smurfs are?!) and strawberry lemonade (jello, hehe-'just suck harder!') and for dessert we had fish sticks (sugar wafers coated in peanut butter then corn flake crumbs with strawberry jam for dipping) with peas and carrots (balls made of green airhead and orange tic-tac's) Bon Appetite!
